Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
I’ve got to say my first trip to Las Vegas, we stayed in the MGM Grand, our room was on the 12th floor and it took us 15 minutes to walk to our room from reception the place is so vast and the Las Vegas strip -WOW- it is just jaw-droppingly awesome, Elvis impersonators, the dancing fountains of the Bellagio and a gondola ride at the Venetian Hotel make for an unforgettable experience.
What's your oddest travel moment?
It was definitely watching my husband on stage at the Flamingo Hotel, Las Vegas, wearing the full Elvis “get up” singing and doing the moves to “Hunk a hunk a burning love” with an Elvis impersonator, that was the funniest and most surreal moment of my life.
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
My wedding day in Central Park, New York in December 2014. After photos on the famous red steps in Times Square with the NYPD we took a limosine ride to Ladies Pavillion for our ceremony, from there we had more photos by the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. At night we boarded the World Yacht cruise and sailed down the Hudson to The Statue Of Liberty and had a three course candlelit dinner and our wedding dance onboard the ship. It really was the fairytale in New York.
What are your suitcase essentials?
Piz Buin oil free sun-cream and Aloe Vera gel to keep prickly heat at bay.
Where's next on your wishlist?
Thailand, I want to see the floating markets in Bangkok, the temples and stay in Koh Samui so I can visit the Ang Thong National Park.
