What would make a perfect holiday? Tell us who is going with you, what airport you'd like to fly from and any other details we may find useful, such as if it's a special occasion.

If we need to get in touch, when is the best time to give you a call about your holiday?

Where's the best place you've ever stayed?

Hong Kong was an absolute treat for all the senses, and I was awe struck by how pretty the city could be. From my hotel room there were 360-degree views of lush green mountains, blue sky meeting blue waters and enormous impressive architecture and cityscape. It's a true meeting of manmade creation and nature, as well as a mesh of Western and Eastern cultures. It's everything you could possibly wish for in a modern city.

What's your oddest travel moment?

My oddest travel moment was in Sri Lanka, staying in huts along the south coast. We'd had a fun but tiring trip and finally made it down to the beach areas to relax. Early on the first morning we were awoken by a few thuds above our beds. We looked outside to investigate, and there were a family of peacocks on top of the accommodation.

Have you had a perfect travel moment?

I moved to Taiwan when I was 21 and had a very hectic few days. After the first weekend I had made some new-found friends and we headed off to see the local waterfall. We climbed over a fence to get to a wobbly bridge on the other side of the river, but the pathway had been burned down. We had to clamber through the rocks and forest to get down to the water. It was hard work to get there but it was stunningly beautiful; Two crystal clear lagoons of cold blue water, a steep waterfall and amazing valley views as far as the eye could see

What are your suitcase essentials?

I try to travel as light as possible, but definitely a fully-charged portable phone charger. I rarely need to use it, but if there's a problem on my travels I like to know that I always have my phone ready to use. I also have a little plastic waterproof wallet, which is great for carrying foreign currencies, especially on the beach.

Where's next on your wishlist?

Costa Rica has always been a dream for me. I'm a bit of a geography and nature nerd, and the diversity of wildlife and environments really appeal. I've had nothing but wonderful reports of the country from everyone I've met that's been there and can't wait to try it out for myself
