Where's the best place you've ever stayed?

Undoubtedly Baros, a spectacular island in the Maldives. I spent the second half of my honeymoon in Baros. It was incredible. The overwater pool villas were luxurious, and it was magical to be able to lean over the edge of your very own infinity pool watching the reef sharks, turtles and rays playing with all the fish beneath you.

What's your oddest travel moment?

Having lions walk around our tents at night whilst staying on an island in the Okavango Delta.

Have you had a perfect travel moment?

Staying in my own beachfront Bure (a traditional little hut) in Fiji, it was fantastic seeing the sun rise from your bed and hearing the sea lapping on the beach all night long. I was one of only 5 people staying on this beautiful island at the time and it was perfect.

What are your suitcase essentials?

Although I’m not always known for packing light, my suitcase essentials are my hand luggage. I include a mini version of everything and enough clothes to survive if my hold baggage were to get lost.

Where's next on your wishlist?

The list is long but I am keen to travel to Madagascar, Tanzania and the Seychelles next.
