Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
There are a number of destinations that I have thoroughly enjoyed visiting including Sydney, Ayers Rock and Hong Kong. However, I would have to say that Maafushivaru in the Maldives would be the best resort that I have stayed in. It was so relaxed and comfortable that I didn't want to leave. The quality of the food and service was exceptional and I would dearly love to go back.

What's your oddest travel moment?
I pride myself on being a very sensible and well organised person a so travelling to London Gatwick at 4am and realising, as I approach check-in desk, that I have forgotten my passport isn't a good feeling. I was flying to Italy and had to drive back home, collect my passport and then purchase a flight to an alternate destination from Stansted before taking a bus, train and finally a taxi before arriving fashionably late. Needless to say I was greeted by my party with loud cheers and a few choice comments.

Have you had a perfect travel moment?
I love to drive when on holiday and when I was presented with the opportunity to drive across the Red Centre in Australia encompassing Alice Springs, Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock, I jumped at the chance. It was as I expected -spectacular. Driving across the coarse red sand in a 4x4 vehicle and viewing some incredible scenery that not everyone gets the opportunity to see. This is something that will certainly stay with me for a very long time.

What are your suitcase essentials?
I am quite a practical person so only ever pack what I need, however I cannot travel without a picture of my children. I know that they are right there with me whilst I am visiting some of the world's most fantastic destinations.

Where's next on your wishlist?
Even though I have been fortunate in my life to visit some unbelievable destinations, I am yet to undertake a safari. Whether it be the Maasai Mara, the Serengeti or within Kruger Park, I would dearly love to experience this type of trip.
