Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
The best place I have ever stayed would have to be the Maldives. I really couldn’t narrow it down to which island as they all are amazing and have such a different charm about them. From the seaplane journey over the picturesque atolls, the white sandy beaches and the beautiful sunsets. I was lucky enough to stay as a guest in over 20 different islands and experience some of the best and most luxurious rooms in the Maldives. I also learned to dive whilst living in the Maldives and now have a passion for marine life and conservation of the ocean.
What's your oddest travel moment?
My oddest travel moment would have to be whilst I was walking through the Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur minding my own business, I got mobbed by groups of people taking photos of me and trying to get photos with me, I don’t know who they thought I was but everyone just seemed to join in until security in the hotel had to save me from the crowd.
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
The desert safari in Dubai is one of my most memorable travel moments. We were picked up in four by four jeeps from the hotel and travelled through the desert sand dunes , to the perfect viewing point to watch a stunning sunset. After sunset we visited a local Bedouin camp where we were treated to traditional dinner and local cultural entertainment under the stars , on the clearest of nights the stars were twinkling down on us!
What are your suitcase essentials?
My suitcase essentials would have to be my hair rollers, after carrying them around the Maldives with me for a year even though they did not work because of the heat they always come with me just in case I need to be photo ready
Where's next on your wishlist?
Next on my wish list is South America, I have wanted to visit for a such a long time from the glaciers in Bolivia to Christ the Redeemer in Brazil and Machu Picchu in Peru I’m not sure how I’m going to fit this all into one holiday.
