Tell us what you want from your holiday

What would make a perfect holiday? Tell us who is going with you, what airport you'd like to fly from and any other details we may find useful, such as if it's a special occasion.

If we need to get in touch, when is the best time to give you a call about your holiday?

Where's the best place you've ever stayed?

While in Australia I did a 2 day/ 2 night trip of the Whitsundays staying at Paradise Cove Resort. In addition to the amazing day trips to Whitehaven beach and snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef, we returned at the end of the day to the amazing and tranquil resort where we could relax in a hammock reading a book under the palm trees and enjoy a bubble bath outside, taking in the views.

What's your oddest travel moment?

I was in Inle Lake in Myanmar and we had been recommended an Indian restaurant by some friends as a must do. We arrived at the restaurant and it was clear the owner was an Eminem fan. Eminem posters lined the walls, his music played in the background and the owner referred to himself as Stan, Eminem’s number one fan. He even spoke like him and imitated his gestures and body language. One of the oddest moments of my travels however equally hilarious and the food was amazing

Have you had a perfect travel moment?

It’s hard to choose just one but I think I would have to say swimming with whale sharks in the Ningaloo Reef off of Coral Bay in Western Australia. They fly a plane overhead to spot the whale sharks and then radio their location across and the boat speeds into action. We had our snorkels and fins on ready and were given the go ahead to enter the water and swim alongside these 5ft majestic creatures. It was a truly unique and special experience

What are your suitcase essentials?

I am a serial over-packer and always end up sitting on my bag to close it, no matter the size. My essentials would have to be sun-cream, as I am extremely pale and it can be very pricey to buy abroad. My other essential would be my phone. Not only is it great for taking pictures and communicating but also using it for maps when trying to navigate a foreign country.

Where's next on your wishlist?

Everywhere is on my list however next I would like to discover South America and visit Machu Picchu in Peru, Iguazu Falls at the Argentina/ Brazil border and Christ the Redeemer in Rio. Canada is also very high on my list.

Sarah has had a love of travel from a young age visiting Europe and the USA with her family. She truly caught the travel bug whilst working at a summer camp in the USA which allowed her to travel afterwards and explore the West coast. Since then she has spent a year living and travelling around Australia and discovered South East Asia and New Zealand.
