Tell us what you want from your holiday

What would make a perfect holiday? Tell us who is going with you, what airport you'd like to fly from and any other details we may find useful, such as if it's a special occasion.

If we need to get in touch, when is the best time to give you a call about your holiday?

Where's the best place you've ever stayed?

The first time I went to Las Vegas, I visited for 2 weeks, I spent the first few nights in the old town, followed by 10 nights on the main strip, in what many would consider to be the 2 most luxurious hotels available, these being The Wynn and The Bellagio. I find it very difficult to separate these hotels, both offer a design that is beautiful, a perfect location and an experience that really makes you feel like royalty.

What's your oddest travel moment?

Jamaica, staying in an All-Inclusive beach resort, I decided to one day go for a run on the beach, after a good couple of miles I found I had made my way onto a different beach, a nudist beach, I was approached by 2 naked people who started pointing at my Millwall shirt whilst shouting “Chelsea Chelsea” and trying to remove this and include me in the beaches rules, I got away and ran back to my hotel very fast.

Have you had a perfect travel moment?

Climbing Yosemite was wonderful, I really hadn’t prepared for the day and had no idea what I was facing, I climbed with a few friends I had made on an escorted tour, I was at the bottom and looked up and thought “it really isn’t that high, this will be easy”, so carrying no water and wearing plimsoles off I went to complete what I now know is a 9 mile journey. I embraced the challenge however and survived by eating snow and drinking from the beautiful waterfalls, I also did not let the struggle stop me from heading to a cliff edge near the top and performing The Lion Kings’ “Circle of Life” for the appreciative crowd, during which a bird landing next to me and a group of squirrel climbed up my body…. Following that day with a Helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon, really made for a memorable part of the vacation.

What are your suitcase essentials?

Polo shirts and shorts, I am a worshiper of the sun, I love good weather and as far as I’m concerned, the hotter the better, I spent 2 weeks in Las Vegas in August, basking in almost 50degree heat, and could not get enough it.

Where's next on your wishlist?

There is so much I want to see on the other side of the world now, I have spent the majority of my travels to America and now it’s time to explore. I will be starting this with Mauritius later on in the year and am very much so looking forward to mixing relaxation with adventure but my real wish list destination has to be Sri Lanka and the variety that this country has to offer, from the beaches, the incredible wildlife, and ancient history this country has to offer. Also as a lover of tea, I hope to sample in a tea-picking experience.

For Robert, travel is all about making the most of your time and making sure your hard earned money is spent correctly. As a 14 year old he was sent to a travel agency for his school work experience, and from there his future career was decided, during school holidays he was invited back to this travel agency for some work and saw how the industry worked. He was always the organiser of his and his friends holidays every year and thrives on putting packages together, whether this is for himself or others, and disappointment for the traveller would not be an option. He has had a keen interest in seeing as much of the USA as possible and would like to continue to tick off visiting as many states as possible (this is possibly because of his struggles in learning any other language apart from English), he loves to discuss travel, and the dream destinations of people he meets and after conversations on this you will want to make those dreams a reality.
