Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
This is a hard question but the best place I have ever stayed has to the be the Grand prince Hiroshima this stunning hotel is located in the bay on a small attached island of Hiroshima, the views are so stunning I could enjoy from them from anywhere in my room including the bathroom which had a huge window next to the bath!
What's your oddest travel moment?
Well I have so many to tell, but the one that will always stand out in my mind has and is always going to be a story to tell. After driving a custom motorbike around Bali for a few weeks we finally come across some of the local police who decided to stop us and check our licences. After a long conversation the police decided they were more interested in revving my bike than asking any questions, after they had played with my bike they decided to let us go. I can safely say I have never been that confused!
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
Of course my perfect travel moment is when a group of us decided to climb up a view point on this island called Ko Wua ta Lap in Ang thong national park Thailand. We decided to climb the mountain just before the sun set. This climb was not easy and by far no walk like the rangers told us but after this journey we finally reached the summit where we all hanged our feet off the cliff and enjoyed a surprisingly cold beer while the sun set into the never ending ocean and hidden clusters of islands.
What are your suitcase essentials?
Most important thing I will always pack is my camera plus I always have my travel buddy with me Wilson well known from the iconic film Cast away.
Where's next on your wishlist?
I would love the opportunity to drive throughout New Zealand to see the diversity of the nature that the island can offer and not forgetting the Lord of the Rings film sets
