Where's the best place you've ever stayed?

The best place I’ve ever stayed has to be the Maldives, from stepping off the seaplane and hearing the beating of the drums, experiencing some of the best sunrises/sunsets I’ve ever seen, and spending 10 days walking around the powder white sands barefoot sipping frozen daiquiris. The Maldives have definitely stolen a piece of my heart, we got to snorkel up close to giant sea turtles and I can truly say it was mesmerising, I could have followed them around all day.

What's your oddest travel moment?

The hotels beach bar in Barbados had a bucket of bananas so that every time someone ordered a drink they could take a banana to hand feed the resident monkeys too, otherwise you’d have some very cheeky babies sitting on your sun lounger trying to steal your banana milkshake. It still makes me smile to this day when I think of their little faces

Have you had a perfect travel moment?

Everyone has that one place on their bucket list that they’ve always dreamt of. My number 1 was always the Grand Canyon, I never believed something could be so truly beautiful until I witnessed it myself. When I sat on the rim and swung my legs out over the edge, I couldn’t hear a single sound while I took in the beautiful orange, red and pink hues of the most amazing thing I have ever seen. The experience was made so much better by driving back to Las Vegas along Route 66 as the sun was setting in a Mustang with the roof down and Foo Fighters on the radio.

What are your suitcase essentials?

I always worry about the condition of my hair on holiday, especially being in the heat and water all day. Bumble and Bumble hairdressers invisible oil is perfect to keep hair smooth and shiny, and helps avoid me resembling Monica in FRIENDS when it’s humid! I love scrapbooking my adventures too, so a waterproof phone case and a selfie stick are always in my suitcase!

Where's next on your wishlist?

This is a hard one because I have so many places I would love to see, and the list is growing rapidly the more stories my customers share with me! I really want to visit Thailand and explore some city, jungle and beach, or a South African safari would be amazing because I am such an animal person!
