Where's the best place you've ever stayed?

I have had the privilege to stay in a number of amazing hotels but the Ritz-Carlton Millenia in Singapore still stands out to me. Aside from the service and facilities you expect from a 5*star hotel, the views from the club room were amazing. Sat with a glass of fizz in the bath looking out over the marina with the evening laser show from the Marina Bay Sands was an experience that will stay with me.

What's your oddest travel moment?

I would say that has to be sitting on the bow of the Regent Seven Seas cruise ship in Iceland at 2am in the morning with the sun still in the sky. I had heard about the midnight sun but experiencing it was a little odd and disorienting.

Have you had a perfect travel moment?

There has been a number of amazing travel moments, however being witness to 15 humpback whales all bubble feeding while in Alaska has to have been the most perfect. The whole occasion being topped off with watching a couple of them breaching as we cruised back to port.

What are your suitcase essentials?

I never go away without my camera, sunglasses, hand sanitiser and travel speakers. I also always pack a change of clothing and some swimmers in my hand luggage ready for when I land.

Where's next on your wishlist?

There are so many places left for me to explore but India, Japan or more of Africa are at the top of my list currently.
