Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
It has to be the Banyan Tree Seychelles. We stayed in a Beachfront Pool Villa - it was pure paradise, totally private, extremely luxurious and spacious with its own private swimming pool, sprawling veranda, outdoor jet pool and steam room. This romantic villa had direct access to the silky soft beach. There was an impeccable service throughout the resort, the Creole and Thai cuisine was wonderful and amazing spa treatments made you feel totally rejuvenated. It was a heaven on earth, and we didn't want to leave!

What's your oddest travel moment?
Oh that's a tricky one! probably crossing the international border between Zambia and Zimbabwe in fancy dress, my travelling companion was in drag! What's more we had to cross back again at the end of the evening, memories I will treasure forever.

Have you had a perfect travel moment?
My trip to Borneo was a special one, I climbed Mount Kinabalu, South East Asia's highest mountain, 4,095 m, which for me was a big achievement, demanding but very rewarding. We set off for the challenging summit trek in the hours of darkenss wearing our head torches; it was pretty spectacular seeing all the twinkly lights ascending up the mountain and to top that it was a full moon. I have my certificate proudly framed and mounted on my wall to prove my successful conquest! Not only that, on this adventure I was fortunate to see the rafflesia flower, it's very rare, the largest individual flower in the world. My visit to Borneo wouldn't have been complete without seeing the green and hawksbill turtles along with our furry cute friends the Orangutans at Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, seeing these inquisitive young animals feeding and playing was a huge highlight for me.

What are your suitcase essentials?
It depends on the destination, but I always travel with my baby oil which is great to use as a moisturiser after showering, followed by Avon Skin So Soft dry oil spray - it keeps the mosquitoes at bay! For trekking the Inca Trail and climbing Mount Kinabalu, I took my travel pillow, lavender pillow spray to ensure a good nights' sleep and peppermint foot lotion for those tired feet. Lastly I always take a bar of my dear friend Cadbury's, as it's just not the same anywhere else!

Where's next on your wishlist?
There are so many places on the bucket list, but seeing the mountain gorillas in Rwanda would be a dream come true.
