Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
It would have to be Sri Lanka and the Maldives. In Sri Lanka there was so much to do as the heritage sites are breath taking, Elephants and trekking up to Sigiriya rock and picking tea in the plantations was an amazing experience. The Maldives is simply stunning, white powder sands and crystal clear warm waters like no- where else I have been before. The scuba diving and snorkelling is truly remarkable.
What's your oddest travel moment?
My trip to the Kenyan coast and I was relaxing on the sun loungers but wondered why my cocktails were disappearing fast, thinking the heat of the sun has evaporated it quicker than I was drinking them to realise the local monkeys have been sipping my cocktails right under my lounger! Always check you drinks when there’s monkeys around!!!
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
In the Maldives I went on a sun set cruise and it was the most beautiful sun set I have ever come across with music playing in the background, drink in hand and a group of dolphins around us was perfect. Seeing the marine life out in the Maldives whilst scuba diving is a real treat especially when a sea turtle follows you around and having to give way to a family of sting rays crossing your path. Priceless.
What are your suitcase essentials?
My suitcase essential has got to be my Avon Soft Skin spray to moisturises my skin and keeps the mosquitoes away. Recent discovery which I have had for years and a very useful thing for sunburn.
Where's next on your wishlist?
I would like to see more of America, South America and Caribbean as I have never been, The far east, South east Asia, Australia and New Zealand, it so hard as when you work in travel and see all these fabulous places I want to visit them all that has activities and relaxation into one.
