Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
This has to be the Oberoi Amarvilas, it’s the ultimate place to stay in Arga. The hotel boasts incredible views of the iconic Taj Mahal and there’s no better place than a premier room with balcony. The hotel also has a stunning pool set in a Moorish style courtyard.

What's your oddest travel moment?
My oddest travel moment has to be watching a Bollywood movie in Jaipur. As soon as the movie started the strangest thing happened, everyone started cheering and whistling at the screen. The sudden bursts in to song and dance made for a unique experience as we played Chinese whispers along the aisle from our guide as the film was in Hindi.

Have you had a perfect travel moment?
It’s hard to choose, but one that really sticks out for me is taking an early morning bike ride along River Li with stunning scenery of limestone karsts in the quaint town of Yangzhou.

What are your suitcase essentials?
A lonely planet guide book for the destination I am visiting. It’s essential for extra tips and to ensure I don’t miss out on the country’s hidden gems.

Where's next on your wishlist?
This has to be South America. I am always on lookout for vibrant cities and adventure and there’s nowhere better than Brazil and Bolivia. From spectacular sights of the Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Mountain to the luminous white salt flats of Salar de Uyuni. Not forgetting the Pantanal for its fantastic array of wildlife.
