Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
It has to be the Maradiva Villas Resort and Spa in Mauritius. I was lucky enough to be allocated a Luxury Suite Villa with a Private Plunge Pool and outside shower. The service in this resort is excellent, nothing is ever too much. My favourite parts of this resort is the Japanese Restaurant and the yoga classes on the beach at sunrise and sunset.
What's your oddest travel moment?
My most bizarre travel moment was whilst in New Zealand I decided to try Llama trekking in Kaikura in the South Island. I walked all over the surrounding countryside and your partnering llama is beside you the whole time, he carries your bags and food for your picnic! You are even taught how to holisticly relate to your llama which was very odd!
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
I was lucky enough to visit Dubai last September on a work educational trip visiting hotels and seeing all that amazing Dubai has to offer. I must say my perfect travel moment was our group being whisked off to the Burj Khalifa by limousine at seven in the morning and being surprised to a breakfast meeting in a private room three levels higher than the general public's observation floor. The views were out of this world, we could literally see the whole of Dubai.
What are your suitcase essentials?
My suitcase essentials have to be my neck pillow and my kindle. They are my saviour for any flight.
Where's next on your wishlist?
I have so much on my wishlist I simply cannot pick just one! It will have to be South Africa including a visit to Cape Town then a trip down the Garden Route followed by a safari in Shamwari Game Reserve. For a more relaxing break I would have to choose the Four Seasons Seychelles to chill out and relax, maybe some Island hopping too.
