Tell us what you want from your holiday

What would make a perfect holiday? Tell us who is going with you, what airport you'd like to fly from and any other details we may find useful, such as if it's a special occasion.

If we need to get in touch, when is the best time to give you a call about your holiday?

Where's the best place you've ever stayed?

One of the best places that I have stayed would be Kandolhu island in The Maldives. I was completely spoilt in my very own private pool villa. Inside the room was my very own mini wine cellar! So just relaxing on the terrace with glass of wine, enjoying the sunsets across the water was truly amazing! Another place has to be the Kirawira Serena Lodge in Tanzania. The unique rooms are luxurious tents where you spot wildlife whilst enjoying breakfast on your terrace overlooking the Serengeti.

What's your oddest travel moment?

In Sydney and seeing a naked backpacker just casually walking down the street! Completely starkers apart from the backpack!

Have you had a perfect travel moment?

A truly unforgettable experience was a sunrise balloon ride over the Serenegeti. The balloon took off just as the sun rose, and was perfectly timed to capture some stunning photos. It was amazing to see the landscape and wildlife from a different perspective, but we were also luckily enough to see a whole pride of Lions, complete with 8 baby cubs from the air! After our fantastic flight, we enjoyed a champagne breakfast in the heart of the Serengeti! Most definitely the highlight of my trip.

What are your suitcase essentials?

My Ipad, Hairdryer and hair straighteners . . . Other essentials would be a nice pair of sunglasses and a notepad.

Where's next on your wishlist?

The wish list is pretty long and does change quite often. However, next I would love to visit Brazil, South Africa and Burma.

Karen remembers hoarding the brochures that her parents had got from the local travel agents for their family holidays. Eventually she ended up working in the local travel agency herself! After a season as cabin crew, itchy feet came along and no longer did she want to just fly to a destination, but to stay there. So, off she went to do several winter and summer seasons in various holiday destinations as your friendly holiday rep.
