Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
Times square New York at Christmas time has to be one of my all-time favorites. Being able to look out of my window and stare in awe at the Christmas lights, and the hustle of the city. At night you could open our window and hear the Christmas carols being sung while the snow is covering the square. MAGICAL.
What's your oddest travel moment?
I visited the famous floating markets in Bangkok Thailand. We got aboard our designated boat, and ventures down the river. Once we reached the markets There were boats and stalls everywhere selling the most beautiful handmade gifts. The sellers where jumping from boat to boat showing us their goods. After spending most of my money, I was then handed a stick of some sort of food. I was told by our boat driver that it is considered rude to turn down this ‘gift’. Soon after, the entire market around me started cheering and clapping for me. To this day, I still don’t know what it was that I ate.
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
Being wined and dined in a candle lit restaurant overlooking the Colosseum in Rome watching the sunset behind it. Fairy lights hanging over us, and the biggest, tastiest bowl of pasta ever!
What are your suitcase essentials?
The first thing I always pack is my factor 50 sunscreen! I don’t tan, I just go as red as a lobster. Also My camera, to capture all the amazing moments while travelling.
Where's next on your wishlist?
Its so hard to decide, my list seems to get bigger and bigger. I am starting to plan a trip to Bali, over always wanted to stay sleep in a treehouse. I want to explore the beautiful beaches and culture. After that I think an African safari will be calling my name.
