Where's the best place you've ever stayed?

The Byron at Byron Bay, Australia. I love Byron Bay for its bohemian charm, the beautiful beach and the laid back atmosphere. This hotel is set within a 45 acre rainforest, and gives the opportunity to completely relax and rejuvenate with daily yoga and an amazing spa. Lots of celebs have stayed here too! I loved it so much I'm returning for part of my honeymoon at the end of the year.

What's your oddest travel moment?

Meeting a Voodoo doctor in West Africa on a university field trip. Apparently he could cure anything but I was too scared to look at him.

Have you had a perfect travel moment?

Lots of them. However my wedding in Italy is top of the list. We chose a venue high in the Sorrento Hills with a view of Capri at one side and Mt Vesuvius at the other. We kept the venue secret and our guests were amazed when they saw it! Drinking Proscecco and watching the sun go down was a very special moment.

What are your suitcase essentials?

A good camera. I visited the Maldives last year and all I had was my camera phone and I was very disappointed with my images. I have now invested in a good camera so I can capture all the action.

Where's next on your wishlist?

There are so many! Every time a customer tells me their travel adventure I think I must go there! However I would love to do an African safari with my little one in the future - she is obsessed with cats and would love to see them in the wild.

"Well I thought I'd send you an email from my sunbed on the beach this morning, our last day. We have had an absolutely fabulous time here in the Westin and in Dubai. We have been thoroughly spoiled by everyone and the whole experience has been such a special treat and a great way to celebrate our 25th! Thank you for all your help and advice, it's been brilliant."

Jemma's passion for travel started at 14 when her dream was to be an air hostess. Unfortunately, after never hitting the minimum height requirements, studying Travel & Tourism at university was the next best thing. Her favourite types of holidays are city breaks with lots of nightlife, such as Dubai, New York and Las Vegas.
