Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
I have been lucky enough to stay in some amazing places. Top of my list was our suite in the New York Palace hotel - sheer luxury! I have cruised extensively and believe it is the best way to enjoy my number one passion in life, food and wine!

What's your oddest travel moment?
We were in Turkey when a restaurant owner invited us to come back to eat that night, we had a really good lunch with them so we booked for the restaurants car to come and pick us up. When the car arrived, the owner was asking us where we were from and had we been to his restaurant before! We were a bit perplexed to say the least! He ended up taking us in a back street where another man got in the car, My life flashed before my eyes and I thought we were being kidnapped! He continued to drive and then pulled up in an alley only to advise us that his restaurant was around the corner and his identical twin brother would be waiting for us, it turned out that the other man was the chef, phew!

Have you had a perfect travel moment?
I have so many! Watching my mum in awe at the view of Monte Carlo from the palace on her first cruise was amazing. Petra was a real moment to behold as you make your way to the Treasury entrance. Also, feeding stingrays in the tropical warm waters off the Cayman Islands has to be up there too! I could go on and on!

What are your suitcase essentials?
Avon Skin So Soft is a must! I love my mini netbook for checking out reviews for local restaurants as I am a big foodie while on holiday. Also, I need my Kobo, life is too busy at home so the chance to catch up on a good book is a real treat! I also take my two cameras - one for really special pictures and one for instant snap and go moments!

Where's next on your wishlist?
It has to be the West Coast of America. I would love to see Los Angeles and then travel up the coast to San Francisco, stopping at all the amazing coastal towns like Carmel, Santa Barbara and Monterey. A must will be trying the local wines and eating the local delights! I would finish the trip with a little wild time in Las Vegas staying in the Bellagio (and maybe a sneaky concert to watch Britney!).
