Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
Kuramathi in the Maldives is one of my favourite ever places. Everything there was incredible from the white sand beaches to the mango daiquiris. For me, the best part about it had to be snorkelling and diving on the house reef. The dives we did here were the best I’ve ever done, we saw turtles, eagle rays, reef sharks and hundreds of tropical fish. It was paradise!
What's your oddest travel moment?
I once went on a trip to Ethiopia where we were helping to build classrooms in a local school, we were camping on-site and had no running water. One day there was a huge storm and instead of running for cover like we normally would, we got our shampoo out and decided to have a well-needed shower in the rain instead!
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
This is a tough one because there are so many. I would probably have to say seeing the Northern Lights last year in Norway. We were out on a sailing boat in the middle of the Fjords and the sky just exploded! It was amazing and a moment I’ll never forget.
What are your suitcase essentials?
I’m terrible when it comes to packing and always seem to over pack! However, I would have to say my main suitcase essential is my Go Pro. It always comes away with me and I love having the photos and videos to look back on. Apart from that, I would say a power bank so I can keep my phone and camera charged on the go, my sunglasses and a good book for any days spent relaxing
Where's next on your wishlist?
My list is constantly changing and growing. Bali has been on there for a while now, I would love to visit Ubud and wake up to views of the rainforest and rice paddies, it looks like heaven! Seeing the Great Wall of China and visiting the giant pandas in Chengdu are also big things on my wish list, so a tour of China is something I would love to do one day too.
