Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
Beautiful Bora Bora from the first glimpse off the plane at the amazing south pacific island really took my breath away. The different shades of blue are absolutely stunning and will be in my heart forever. One of the main highlights was swimming amongst the sharks and kissing the Manta Rays an experience I will never forget.
What's your oddest travel moment?
While travelling around China I went on a day trip to a place called Leshan to view The Giant Buddha. On the return journey back the bus disembarked at a bus depot on the outskirts of the city. This doesn’t sound that bad but bearing in mind the language barrier in China is very tough it was going to take some time to figure this situation out. So with many attempts at turning the map in every which way and getting nowhere the very friendly locals did their best tourist sign language and thankfully directed me to the correct bus to get back in the city centre.
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
It’s so hard to pick one, but I think my perfect breath-taking moment has to be coming face to face with the Orang-utans in the Jungle of North Sumatra. A truly surreal and magical moment
What are your suitcase essentials?
I always try to pack really light so as well as the essential of my Iphone to keep in touch with family and friends a must for me has to be a bottle of Tea Tree oil which has many uses. Face wipes is another little essential and due to being fair a good bottle of Aloe Vera.
Where's next on your wishlist?
My number one destination on my list is trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu Peru and I just can’t wait to get there.
