Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
I have visited so many amazing places, Singapore, Malaysia, Florida and Mexico to name a few of my favourites, but i would have to say skiing in Stowe, Vermont was definitely a trip of a lifetime. I teamed it with a four night stay in New York. Stowe offers skiing for all levels and is the perfect place for intermediate skiers with plenty of blue runs to explore. For the thrill seekers you have the "front four" double black diamond trails. I love the New England approach to apres ski with the fabulous food and a few brewery's thrown in the mix, Stowe has a really cosy atmosphere where you can sit around a fire after a long day on the slopes.
What's your oddest travel moment?
My oddest moment would have to be standing in the queue in a famous coffee shop in the pavilion shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur and someone i went to school with 20 years ago was stood behind me, very surreal.
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
Definitely chartering a private boat sipping on champagne and sailing around the wonderful national park of La Maddalena archipelago, Sardinia. With crystal clear waters and out of this world white sandy beaches, you can see why it attracts the rich and famous.
What are your suitcase essentials?
My holiday essentials would have to be my International driving licence, as i love nothing better than hiring a car and exploring a destination. A currency converter App makes getting the hang of the local currency so much easier, they are free to download to your mobile phone. Finally i would have to say a reusable travel cup it keeps my water cold and are really handy to top up. Also saves on the plastic bottles.
Where's next on your wishlist?
Mauritius is next on my list of adventures. I also really want to head to the Canadian Rockies and sample the snow. The incredible mountains and picturesque ski resorts are making me add it to my wish list.
