Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
I have been extremely fortunate to stay at some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, but I would have to say Nihi Sumba hidden in Indonesia is my favorite. Voted the worlds best hotel in 2018 + 2019 I was lucky enough to experience my stay with some known faces David and Victoria Beckham which made the trip that little bit more memorable. I stayed in an ocean villa my a plunge pool steps away from the beach with panoramic views over their 2-mile long private beach. It doesn’t get much better than that
What's your oddest travel moment?
One of my oddest experiences while traveling was being in Armenia while they had their revolution. I saw countries population walking hand in hand to overthrow the corrupt officials. I was in the capital city of Yerevan and instead of violence, I saw the people join together, grabbing their barbecues and barricading the roads with them, cooking for everyone declaring peace. It was very unexpected but I guess that is why we travel
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
My perfect travel moment would have to be in Egypt. I met some lovely people in Luxor who turned out to have there owned horse stables inland and invited me to visit. I spent a couple of days with these new friends of mine and on one evening took a swim in the ocean riding these horses with the sun setting and traditional Egyptian music playing in the temples. I remember jumping off my horse and floating there with the last of the day's hot sun on my face surrounded by swimming horses.
What are your suitcase essentials?
As a photographer and videographer, I don’t travel anywhere without my essentials. My Canon 5D, prime lenses, Drone, Camera stabilizer are always by my side ready to capture that perfect moment.
Where's next on your wishlist?
Next is Syria and Alaska. A little bit of contrast but these are two places I can't wait to experience and see a different side of the world rarely seen anyone. A friend of mine recently released a book about his travels and experienced these rarely visited countries, enticing me in. I strongly believe it is up to ones self to experience the world and make there own decision on a country.
