Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
The best place that I have ever stayed is the Castel Monastero, a converted monastery in the Chianti region of Tuscany. The food at the Gordon Ramsey restaurant called Contrada was fantastic and of course the wine in this region is some of the best in the world! There is countryside, olives groves and vineyards for as far as you can see, simply stunning!
What's your oddest travel moment?
When I went to Canada, I was really hoping to see a lot of wildlife, especially a moose! As we were staying in the cities, unfortunately we didn't come across one. One day we were sat in the city centre having a coffee, when a mascot for the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa came strolling past, dressed as a moose! The group I was with found it so funny because I had been saying the whole trip how much I wanted to see one!
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
When I was in Bali, we spent a day relaxing at a beach bar in Seminyak. We were laid back on a day bed with a Bellini watching the sunset. In the background, some music started to play just as the sky began to turn colour and filled with oranges and yellows. It was one of those breath-taking moments that I will remember forever!
What are your suitcase essentials?
I love to take photos of everything in order to show all my family and friends when I get home, so for me a camera is definitely a suitcase essential. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!
Where's next on your wishlist?
I would love to see South America, in particular Iguazú Falls and Rio de Janeiro. One of my colleagues travelled there last year and after seeing her photos, it is definitely top of my wishlist!
