Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
The best place Emily has ever stayed is Kalkan, Turkey. Beautiful white villa facing the bay looking out to the ocean with an infinity pool. Watching both the sun rise and sunset was incredible. Having your own private space with more than enough room for 8 people was luxury and pure relaxation. The town itself is very traditional in terms of how all the streets are cobbled small alleyways leading down to the small harbour just big enough to hold an average of a dozen boats.
What's your oddest travel moment?
I went on a your up to mount Teide at night to do star gazing. On the way up to the huge mountain we stopped for a 3 course dinner which was very delicious. We travelled further up to watch the sun go down below the clouds, at which point we were served glasses of champagne. As stunning as this all seemed, I was ok my own whilst all other tourists had their partners with them, raising a toast with each other. So it's was actually quite a romantic trip which turned out to be quite awkward and odd for myself. Although it was stunning to see the stars!
Have you had a perfect travel moment?
A perfect travel moment for Emily has to be when her boyfriend met her in turkey for three weeks whilst she was working there. He arrived in time to celebrate Emily's birthday with and she took him around and saw some incredible sights too.
What are your suitcase essentials?
Emily's Suitcase essentials have to be suntan lotion oil free, sunglasses and her DSLR camera
Where's next on your wishlist?
Next Emily's my wish list is India, she would love to see the Taj Mahal and have a photo were the iconic princess Diana did right outside the temple. Emily would also love to try the local traditional cuisine too, she imagines it to be delicious.
