Tell us what you want from your holiday

What would make a perfect holiday? Tell us who is going with you, what airport you'd like to fly from and any other details we may find useful, such as if it's a special occasion.

If we need to get in touch, when is the best time to give you a call about your holiday?

Where's the best place you've ever stayed?

Without a doubt, Santhiya Koh Yao Yao resort and spa in Thailand. The charming traditional Thai styled villa was set up in the hills on an island off of the mainland, bringing pure exclusivity. Each morning I would wake up, open my bedroom door and take a dip in my private infinity pool overlooking the most beautiful and calming view of the ocean. The staff were extremely sweet, attending to our needs and allowing us to enjoy a few days of relaxation.

What's your oddest travel moment?

After settling into our Villa in Thailand and a few hours of travelling it was chill out time in the pool. I noticed a monkey had perched itself on our outside dining area. Prime opportunity for a photo, I jump up to get my phone. My partner on the other hand had realised we had left the door open to our TV area with the bar snacks. He makes the move to go and shut it but the monkey had other ideas. The monkey hisses and fights him off, runs in to collect his Pringles and sits himself on top of the fencing. With that we lock ourselves in the villa and watch the monkey happily eat his prize. Lesson learnt!

Have you had a perfect travel moment?

I was visiting Santiago in Chile and it was perfect day to go and explore. A group of us organised a day tour to take us to Valparaíso the main city in Chile. Wandering around the streets and up steep staircases it was packed with bright street art. The city has the most wonderful cultural vibe, one to never forget. On the corner we stopped to admire a man creating glass sweets in a little boutique candy shop. The final part of the tour was of course a visit to a vineyard. After a beautiful tour and wine tasting class we sat down for some well deserved wine and lunch in the most breath-taking vineyard, Viña Indomita, Casablanca & Maipo Vineyards.

What are your suitcase essentials?

After many years of flying, my lip balm is my absolute go to. I prefer a simple Carmex it works miracles. A hydrating face oil for night time is great for when you’ve been out soaking up the sun all day. But of course, I couldn’t go anywhere without my sunglasses.

Where's next on your wishlist?

New Zealand, because isn’t it on everyone’s? Having fallen in love with Asia, Vietnam and Cambodia followed by the Philippines.
