Tell us what you want from your holiday

What would make a perfect holiday? Tell us who is going with you, what airport you'd like to fly from and any other details we may find useful, such as if it's a special occasion.

If we need to get in touch, when is the best time to give you a call about your holiday?

Where's the best place you've ever stayed?

I do have a lot of favourites but I would have to say the one that stands out the most is the famous Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Having seen the hotel in the movies and heard so many amazing reviews about the hotel, I was ecstatic to stay especially as I was there for Independence Day the atmosphere was incredible! The decor is impeccable and the size of the hotel is as big as a resort with so many restaurants and don’t forget the casino! It was all surreal. The staff were delightful and made the experience extra special. I want to go back already!

What's your oddest travel moment?

On my first day of landing in Bangkok I headed out to the infamous Khao San Road. Walking down the road incredibly jet lagged and wanted to see the buzz of what I’ve heard everyone talk about! I walked upon a street food truck including all your local delicacies. I can’t even count how many insects and creatures were on that stall. One of my friends convinced me to try a fried spider and which I happily did and it didn’t taste as bad as I expected ! This moment stands out to me as it was my first day in Asia and was a complete culture shock to what I would normally eat on my travels!

Have you had a perfect travel moment?

Many! But if I have to choose one it would have to be my stay at Khao Sok National Park. The area has no phone signal or internet so you feel completely switched off from the rest of the world. The floating bungalows were nothing like I have ever seen before. I spent my day kayaking to different islands and exploring the jungle with all the wildlife including monkeys and elephants and spent my evenings watching the sunset with the locals. It was paradise and was not something I planned on seeing in South East Asia so it exceeded my expectations.

What are your suitcase essentials?

I normally go to hot countries so it would definitely be sun tan lotion as I burn very easily!

Where's next on your wishlist?

I would say the Maldives is at the top of my list. I love a luxury beach destination and the Maldives looks very indulgent and there’s marine life I would like to see such as the whale sharks. I don’t think I would want to get on the plane home!

Amy’s fascination with travel started from a young age going on extensive family holidays. After finishing her studies she went on her first solo adventure to South East Asia where her love of discovering different cultures and countries grew. She is known by friends and family for always being away and looking for the next destination to see! Amy has experienced all different types of travel from backpacking to staying in luxury accommodation but her favourite would be lounging on a tropical beach with a book and a cocktail in hand .She is looking forward to helping share her passion and knowledge of travelling the world with you!
