Where's the best place you've ever stayed?
It has to be Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia. From arrival to departure the service at this hotel was out of this world, and the surroundings of the hotel was stunning. Greeted with a drink and a cold towel after spending the day at the beautifull Angkor Wat, followed but the staff walking me to my room, was a fantastic welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff Sofitel Angkor and the food and attention to detail is amazing.

What's your oddest travel moment?
I was staying in The Nimaj Palace heritage hotel in India owned by the Thakur Family. We arrived at the hotel by bullock cart jointed by a band on wheels in front of us. Every single resident and animal in the village was following our bullock cart and singing and dancing as we arrived. This is possible the oddest moment I have been experienced. Just like a scene from The Marigold Hotel

Have you had a perfect travel moment?
Yes, several of them. One perfect travel moment was a visit to Dubai, where we went in 4x4 cars on a desert safari. We headed out late afternoon and had so fun in the jeeps, followed by enjoying the sunset whilst we had a BBQ style dinner sitting on large colourful pillows in the desert under the stars with traditional Arabic dancers and music. That was a perfect moment!

What are your suitcase essentials?
I never travel anywhere without my camera, tropical mosquito spray and lip-balm for the plane.

Where's next on your wishlist?
Now that's a question, that's very hard to answer when working for KUONI as one is daily exposed to some truly amazing places on our planet; Shopping in Hong Kong, The amazon in Brazil, The Lakes in Italy, The mountains in Switzerland and eating a steak in Argentina are all things that are on my wish list.
